The TrackEye film scanner is controlled through the scanner software:
The software gives the operator full control of the film scanner. It is easy to record images, play an image sequence and perform wind and “step by step” viewing: all in both forward and backward direction.
Recording Dialog
The software also includes functions to keep track of image numbers, which makes it very easy to jump to a certain image or to perform image enhancement on a certain image sequence.
The correct exposure time is set through the exposure time control tool allowing correct lighting of the images.
The Film Scanner is controlled by a standard Windows based Workstation normally supplied by Image Systems AB or by partners.
The workstation includes frame grabbers, scanner control capability and RAID array disk assemblies that can handle parallel streams of data from the scanner to the controlling computer.
In all other respects though the controlling computer is a standard Windows based PC.
The TrackEye Film scanners are offered in three versions: B/W scanner, 2k color scanner and 4k color scanner.
