April 2009:
New distributors for the European market.
C2-Cine, www.c2-cine.co.uk,will handle the United Kingdom and Ireland market. C2-Cine was newly formed by Colin Broad, well known from his work with CB electronics.
IberAlp, www.iberalp.es, will handle the Spanish and Portugise market. IberAlp has been a supplier to the broadcast industry since 1991 and supplies film stock, sound equipment, telecines and now also the GoldenEye film scanner.
April 2009:
The Russian company Krupniy Plan buys a GoldenEye Film scanner to the facility in Moscow. The scanner will be used for restoration of 35 mm archival film.
Jan 2009: Hocus Focus = Film Scanning.
The Norwegian Post Production company, Hocus Focus AS, is now offering outstanding scanning quality, scanning everything from new commercials (Onelight and HQ), to old archive film for restoration. Hocus Focus uses GoldenEye for all film scanning and Mistika for colour grading. www.hocusfocus.no
